Jewelry Studio AM (Ages 8-13)

In this one-week jewelry-making workshop young designers transform a variety of materials into wearable works of art. Campers will explore the foundations of jewelry design while learning hands-on techniques such as forming custom pendants, stringing and patterning with beads, braiding and knotting cord for texture, and constructing simple jump-ring works inspired by chainmail. Students will experiment with color, balance, and composition to make a collection of wearable works of art.
