Clay Lab: Hand Building PM (Ages 8-13)

This course introduces students to foundational ceramic handbuilding techniques and surface decoration methods. Students create both functional and sculptural forms using coil, pinch, and slab construction processes. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, creative problem-solving, and thoughtful glaze application. Through experimentation with clay, texture, and surface design, students build confidence in the creative process while developing technical skill and personal expression.
