Beginning Special Effects Makeup AM (Ages 11-15)

This beginning level class is recommended for students who
want to learn basic special effects techniques to understand the application
of cuts, bruises, wounds and prosthetics . Students get first-hand experience
using professional materials to create realistic wounds, create their own blood
syrup and create and apply latex prosthetic pieces. Participants are encouraged
to design and execute original effects based on their interests and skill
levels. Families and friends are invited to a culminating event project to
celebrate the student’s work and learning.
