In this hands-on introductory course, students have the opportunity to create artwork based on real-life observation and imaginative design. Using step-by-step methods and creative problem solving, students explore a variety of mediums and techniques for the purpose of building both their skill level and portfolio. The class culminates in a gallery-style “step into the classroom” exhibition of student work for friends and family to enjoy.
